After having one for years, I bought this one for my daughter and her family. It's the best thing for removing boots, especially tight-fitting, elastic-sided short boots. You stand on the body of the beetle, while hooking the heel of your other foot between the antennae. It tightly grips the heel of your boot, enabling you to easily pull your foot out of the boot. The metal is thick and heavy, and should last a lifetime.
